The weather was very windy and wet this weekend so making outfit pictures didn't went that well.
But because I wanted to share something with you I've made this little gif from the outfit I wore yesterday.
Yesterday I went out for dinner with my husband and after that we went to the theater with the whole family to see a cabaret show.
Today I decided to give myself a shopping budget because I shop way to much while we have so much plans with renovating the home and there are great traveling plans to come. (roadtrip through scandinavia and a citytrip to New York!)
So I don't say I stop shopping but maybe a little less!

What do you think of this pair of heels? They are from real suede and only cost 30 euro!
I've bought them at H&M online (didn't seen them in stores yet)
They are also available in pink, blue and sand. I think it's a good purchase for that price, they are really comfortable and I doubt if I should buy the pink or blue one also.

Yesterday was my birthday...I turned 27...how old! I have never thought I would be a girl that mind getting older but 30 comes closer and closer.I didn't celebrate my birthday yesterday, the party is on Saturday. But my husband gave me a beautifull leather jacket, I'll show it very soon!

The weather is terrible here! Not very cold but so windy and wet! So it's better to stay inside with a cup of hot tea and a couple of magazines.And I promisse, really promisse more outfit pics from now on!

Today I've made for the very first time a gingerbread house.
Sort of made... to be honest I only decorated the house ;)

This was the last weekend before Christmas and I'm so looking forward!! Really can't wait!! Normally I like Christmas but this time I love it, do you know why?
I'm going to Paris and Disneyland! Two days walking a round Paris and two days playing with Mickey and friends.
I've been once in Disneyland and a few times to Paris but never during Christmas and think it will be so romantic!

The Fall collection was inspired by the sweet romance of Swedish folklore and has also a 50's feeling. We went to La Pizza, a deliscious Italian restaurant in Rotterdam.
After that we decided to go to the beach for a drink. On our way to the beach we drove past a fairground. I really like fairs, unfortunately five minutes after arriving there was a cloudburst.

Today I'm very busy with a lot of things in and around my house.

As I told before I cut my hair, I wanted to try something new but most of all because my hair was really damaged caused by chemical treatments.

We're back from the first part of our honeymoon! Four days in London and we had a great time! We act like real tourist and did a bus tour around all tourist attractions, shopped a lot and I've got a new tattoo!

Little preview engagement shoot

Last saturday we had an appoinment with our photographer Melissa Milis for our engagement shoot but the weather was so bad, it's was impossible to make decent pictures.
So we drove a little disappointed back home.
The next morning I woke up with a lot of sunshine in my bedroom and a textmessage on my phone. From Melissa, she wanted to give it another try!
So we packed our stuff and drove to the beach. The weather was still very windy but there were only a few raindrops.
I've had a lot of fun during the shoot and even my boyfriend/fiancee ;) liked it! The preparation was also very nice to do; choosing two outfits for me and Leon which had to match together, with the environment and also give a little vintage feeling.
I'm so happy with the result and really can't tell which picture is my favourite, I love them all!! Melissa did a great job and she's so nice to work with! I'm very happy she will also photograph our weddingday!

P.s. Be prepared for more pictures because our wedding is in less than three weeks and I'm in a very romantic mood ;)

Seven weeks till the weddingdate! We send the invitations and the day before yesterday we had an appiontment for the weddingcake.
Now we only have to do some small things and than we're ready!
A few weeks before the real date we have a photoshoot with our photogapher to get to know eachother. So this weekend I'm busy with choosing our cloths and attributes for the shoot. We want to create some vintage feeling so the shoot match with the weddingtheme.

Do you remember Twin Peaks? I didn't see it when it was on television, I think I was a little baby that day's. But later I saw all the episodes. And I loved it!
The Australian Vogue also loves Twin Peaks and got inspired to make an editorial about this mysterious serie.

Here are the second pair of shoes I designed/orderd by Shoes of Prey.
You can see my first pair here.
Both pairs are for my weddingday. The first pair with high heels I'm planning to wear the whole day but in case my feet are bleeding or something like that, I orderd this flats. And also to take them with me on our honeymoon.

Last weekend me and my mother whent to Maastricht, a city in the south of Holland. We shopped a lot and the shirt and skirt are two of the things I bought.

I've problems with my computer and can't upload any picture so I can't post. Because posts on a fashionblog without pictures are very boring.

A touch of red

Red is one of the colors I don't wear that often and I think it's strange because I like it a lot!
So I bought these shoes and that's a start for wearing more red.

Yesterday me and my family went to a japanes restaurant and it was so delicious! I ate a lot of sushi and their mushrooms were so great!
Today I'm going to the Swan market, it's a lifestyle market and the same idea as the market in Camden London.

Today was a beautiful day! The weather was amazing and we did a lot of preperation for the wedding. So the outfit of my bf is also almost done.
Now there are only a couple of small things we have to do.

Some people hate them, some love them: freckles.
I think they're cute and I like the fact my freckles become more visible when the sun is shining.

Tomorrow it's queensday in Holland and then we celebrate the queens birthday. Or actually the birthday of the queens mother. The whole country colors orange and every city small and big has his own party!
But this year I won't join the party. My boyfriend and I are going to a spa and celebrate our 10 years anniversary.

This weather makes me so happy! I don't mind if the sun is shining like this all year!! It's great to walk with bare legs so I'll do it as much as possible and maybe at the end of the summer I'll have a little tan.

Wearing my new shoes for the first time. I was talking about them a few posts ago and they didn't get out of my head. So here they are!
They are very comfortable, don't know if you can see it very well on the pictures but the heel is almost a wedge.

So enough about the shoes, let's talk about easter.

Here in Holland the weather is amazing so I'm working on my tan and we're visiting my family. Hopefully I don't eat to much chocolate eggs!

A beautiful day in April

This beautiful weekend is almost over. The weather was so great! I reloaded my battery while lying in the sun.
But being lazy wasn't the only thing I did, I cleaned my closet because next weekend I'm going to a jumble sale and hope to sell al my clothes I don't wear any more (and that's a lot).
The plan was to buy new clothes with the money I earn but... When I planned to make lasagne the oven didn't work anymore so I tried the microwave but that one hit fire! Can you believe it?!
So a new oven is number one on my wishlist.

Tomorrow H&M will laungh a new collection:
H&M Inclusive, a 50's inspired collection from size 32 to 54! I think this is really great! I like the feminine style and hope I can buy something. (I mean my boyfriend because I'm still in Turkey.)
The collection will be sold online so only for selected countries.

I've packed my bags and I am ready to go.
Tomorrow morning I will fly to Istanbul for two weeks! My company is opening a new store and I'm there to help with the styling.
I'm very excited but have some mixed feelings because I don't like missing my boyfriend for two weeks.
I don't take my laptop with me so don't expect a lot of posts from me. (Just a few.) But ofcourse I take my camera with me so when I'm back there are enough photo's to post!

I really have something with the Scandinavian countries, the beautiful nature, architecture and ofcourse their style!
I've never visited one of those countries but that's changing. We're planning a 3 weeks during roadtrip as our honeymoon! We start in Denmark, with the ferry to Finland, straight up to North Cape, in Norway drive along the fjords and finally to Stockholm in Sweden. We're planning this a few months after our weddingday. I'm so looking forward to this trip! And just only planning this trip is so much fun!
But there is more, the day after our wedding we fly to London for one week!
So two honeymoons..can you imagine?!

Not a very spectaculair outfit but I thought it was a little vintagelike so I changed the colors a bit so it looks like they're old.
This Sunday I'm leaving to Istanbul and I bought some books and magazines to read in the plane and in my hotelroom.
It's always hard for me to leave new books and magazines untouched. When I've a new book or magazine I always immediatelly want to start reading!

It's time for spring

I could not believe my eyes this morning...it was snowing! Not that much but hey I'm ready for spring so there's no snow aloud till November/December!
About two weeks I'm leaving to Istanbul and I'm very exciting! I've never been longer than one week without my boyfriend and now I'm leaving him for two weeks.
But I'm looking forward to meet colleagues from other countries and I hope there is some time to see something of the beautiful city!
